El Dorado Forward

El Dorado Forward is committed to the continued growth and prosperity of the local community.  With the approval of a one-cent sales tax, the economic development board was created. The board has 23 task forces, which are tied to each project recommended by TIP Strategies. The Union County Industrial Board has hired TIP Strategies as the economic consulting team to assist in the process of developing an economic development strategic plan.

The top priority for El Dorado Forward is the contruction of a new conference center.  45 percent of the total finances generated from the tax will go toward the building.

The Conference Center Task Force is under the guidance of the three responsible parties of the City of El Dorado, South Arkansas Community College.
