West Side Christian Academy

West Side Christian School was established in 1985 as a ministry of West Side Baptist Church to assist our families in the total education of their children.

Non-Discriminatory Policy:  WSCS does not discriminate in the administrations of policies in regard to race, color, or national origin.

Accreditation: WSCS is fully accredited through the Arkansas Non-Public Accrediting Association.  We are also members in good standing of the Association of Christian Schools International.

School Board:  West Side Christian School is operated under the authority of the School Board which is elected from the membership of West Side Baptist Church.  The Board is responsible for setting school policies, hiring the principal, approving the hiring of faculty, overseeing the school finances, and long-range goals of the school.

Teacher Qualifications:  Each of our teachers is a committed Christian who is active in their church.  Our teachers are chosen because of their qualification to teach in a given area.  They are college graduates who continue to receive appropriate training to their specific teaching assignments.  

Curriculum:
All of the curriculum at WSCS is Christian in orientation, and/or in harmony with Christian values and beliefs.  We rely heavily on the ABeka curriculum, as well as selected materials that have been approved by the administration.
