Barton Junior High School (7-8)

Barton Junior High School's formost mission is to provide 7th and 8th grade students in the El Dorado School District the opportunity to show continuing progress toward and beyond grade-appropriate proficiency as measured by state and national standards. 

In order to maximize the potential growth for each student and expand our standards based curriculum, Barton became a "focus" school emphasizing math, science, and technology with a flair for thr arts throughout the curriculum. 

This focus exposes Barton students to a variety of experieces outside the traditional curriculum thereby creating a great enthusiasm for learning.
