Facilities Maintenance Team Member
Job Description:
It is the policy of El Dorado Festival and Events for their properties to maintain an ongoing preventative maintenance program for equipment and facilities. We are looking for someone to join our maintenance team primarily but also help with production and IT as needed. Experience is an advantage, but we are willing to train the right person.
Essential Functions:
- Check Refrigerator and A/C Temperatures.
- Check Light Fixtures and Ceiling Lighting.
- Maintain grounds around facilities (mow, weedeat, leaf blowing).
- Maintain Daily boiler log, with temperature, flow and pressure documentations.
- Inspect and maintain outside perimeter of the facilities, wash concrete, remove cobwebs etc.
- Inspect Generator for proper operation.
- Replace air filters.
- Check VFD drive amps etc, for proper fan operation
- Inspect ovens, walk-in cooler, and freezer temperatures. Clean coils.
- Check all door gaskets for wear.
- Check all HVAC units for proper operation.
- Check exhaust and make-up air systems for proper operation.
- Inspect U Drains and clean as needed.
- Clean condensate pans and drain spouts.
- Clean roof top A/ C coils.
- Clean evaporator coils as needed.
- Take Water PH and Chlorine Water samples.
- Basic understanding of pump and valve maintenance.
- Perform PM’s on playground equipment..
- Perform maintenance on security cameras.
- Other duties assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications/Licenses/Certificates:
Required: High School Diploma
Advantages:
- Boiler Operator License (or ability to earn one within 6 months).
- Working Knowledge of Plumbing, Basic Electrical, Basic HVAC, Woodworking & Painting
- I/T Experience working with Audio/Video equipment or security systems

Compensation Package:
- Starting hourly rate commensurate with experience.
- Paid vacation.
- Reimbursement and paid mileage for work related expenses.
- Health insurance at 75% employer contribution – Eligible on the first of the month after completion of 60 days of employment.
