The exhibition will be open to the public from March 3 through April 30\, 2026\, in the Price Gallery. A public opening reception will be held on Thursday\, March 5\, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. \nThe artists contributing to “Captivating Landscapes” share a deep identification with and inspiration drawn from the natural world. While each maintains a distinct visual language and preferred medium\, their work reflects personal relationships to gardens\, fields\, forests\, foothills\, and waterways. From this common ground\, the artists focus on specific elements within particular landscapes\, interpreting them through selective and intentional processes that reveal layers of meaning beyond first impressions.

Much of his career was spent working in sales for the photography\, pre-press\, and printing industries\, where he specialized in fine art reproductions. Today\, he works as a full-time artist creating what he affectionately calls “fun art” – bold\, colorful works often centered on cultural and musical themes.

Drawing from imagery sourced from National Geographic and the El Dorado Insider\, participants will create layered visuals of whimsical narratives that reflect the excitement of springtime\, including places to go\, people to see\, and moments waiting to be enjoyed. Stone will provide the cutout pieces\, and all supplies are included. \nSpace is limited to 12 participants\, and early registration is encouraged. The workshop fee is $40.
