freeArkansas Museum of Natural Resources Presents A BOOMTOWN TINKERFEST Saturday, September 17th 10 am to 2 pm Tinkerfest is a celebration of curiosity and creativity. Free to the community, this year’s event offers hands-on learning opportunities in our OIL BOOMTOWN setting. Each activity engages children and adults, teaches visitors how everyday objects work, and provides opportunities to explore the engineering and science behind building and making. Past activities have included hand-made butter, build a straw derrick and other construction stations, soap and candle making, quilt making, and several photo-opportunity stations. Guests will enjoy up to 20 activities in addition to the museum’s temporary and permanent exhibits!
