Explore the Oil Park with an interpreter, as you uncover some of the untold stories of 1920s oil boom in south Arkansas. Walk around the park to see some of the machines used during the rush for black gold, as the interpreter tells the tales of people who lived through the chaos and excitement of the boom. Learn how at first the boom brought some danger and destruction, but also change and new opportunities to the region. If you have any questions, please contact the museum at (870) 725-2877. In the event of inclement weather, the program may be rescheduled or the details of the program may change. Meet us in front of the Education Center in the Oil Field Park.
