Mayhaw Festival @ The South Arkansas Preservation Society

Free for all ages.For the 30th Annual Mayhaw Festival, we will have a 5/10k run/walk with medals and prizes, 100 vendors offering food, plants, arts and crafts, jewelry, services and hosts of other items. Tours of the Newton House and Gallery of History are given with living historians re-enacting what life was like from different eras. Car shows, kid zones, dog parks and all of the elements of a fair and carnival will be available. We also have two stages and live music all day long.
The Mayhaw Festival presented by First Financial Bank and Murphy USA, is an
annual street festival with craft and food vendors, vintage market, antique
car and motorcycle show, Newton House Museum tours, 5K fun runs, kid’s
activities, Mayhaw jelly and live music. It is a great day of family fun
held on the grounds of the Newton House Museum. The Mayhaw Festival is held
on the first Saturday of May each year since 1992 and is put on by the South
Arkansas Historical Preservation Society and the City of El Dorado in El
Dorado, Arkansas. This event is free and open to the public.
