A Closer Look with Gay Bechtelheimer
Join us for a special lunch lecture celebrating The South’s Most Elusive Artist, a rare and powerful exhibit of works by Walter Inglis Anderson.
Arts advocate, artist, educator, and recipient of the Judge’s Recognition Governor Arts Award in 2024, Gay Bechtelheimer, will present the lecture, offering insight into Anderson’s singular artistic legacy, his deep connection to nature, and the unique vision that shaped his watercolors, prints, and murals.
Anderson’s work is currently on display at the South Arkansas Arts Center.
