With the start of spring, come and explore the arboretum with a park interpreter from the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources. What holly tree is native to the southeastern United States? What types of oak trees can be found in the arboretum? What tree is used to make things, such as boat oars and baseball bats? Discover the answers to these questions and other fun facts about some of the special trees that grow in the park. Please contact the museum at (870) 725-2877 to sign up for the program. In the event of inclement weather, the program may be rescheduled. Covid-19 safety guidelines will be in effect for guest and staff safety.
