Job Description
The El Dorado Golf and Country Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations, including fine dining, bar, kitchen staff, private events, and pool operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional member and guest experiences while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the fine dining restaurant, 19th Hole, pool, kitchen, and all club events.
- Directly oversee kitchen staff in coordination with the, ensuring efficient kitchen operations, food quality, and adherence to standards.
- Assist in the development of menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, member preferences, and current culinary trends.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service across all outlets.
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead the entire F&B team (front-of-house and back-of-house), fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Control food, beverage, and labor costs to achieve budgeted financial targets.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with General Manager, Board of Directors, and event team to plan and execute successful member events and private functions.
- Monitor member feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and purchasing for all F&B outlets.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive F&B management experience, preferably in a private club, upscale restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of fine dining, casual dining, bar operations, kitchen management, and event management.
- Proven ability to manage costs, drive revenue, and deliver outstanding service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with experience leading both front- and back-of-house teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and club/restaurant management software (e.g., Clubessential, Toast, or similar) a plus.
- ServSafe Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications required.
- Passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to provide exceptional member experiences.
