The Institutional Services Assistant will be responsible for general cleaning of areas in and around office buildings, class rooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, resident halls, dining areas, building common areas, and other areas as required. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy. Salary of $24,668. Plus, excellent benefit package. Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and supplies. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, operation and maintenance. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions and perform repetitive manual work. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Ability to perform multiple tasks and to prioritize assignments.
Required Education and Experience:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma and at least one-year custodial experience.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, standing, stretching, and walking for long periods of time are required.
