El Dorado Animal Hospital is looking for a highly motivated, caring, and dependable Vet Assistant to join our team. Our vet assistants help our doctors with hands-on care including restraining animals (utilizing safe and low stress handling techniques) and surgery preparation (prepping the surgical suite, sterilizing instruments, and performing pre-operative clips and scrubs on patients). You will also have kennel responsibilities including feeding, bathing, and cleaning kennels. You'll be a key player in the health of our patients, assisting our veterinarians with hands-on care and ensuring every animal is treated with compassion and respect.
Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Weekend Duties: Weekend kennel duties are shared. Time Off: Each employee will receive one day off per week.
