Irving Berlin’s White Christmas Continues at SAAC This Weekend

This weekend, the South Arkansas Arts Center continues to entertain and delight audiences young and old with the 2012 Holiday production of “Irving Berlin?s White Christmas.? The new musical has been playing to sold out crowds and will continue its run on Friday, December 7, with a special performance honoring the courageous men and women of the United States military.

The Simmons First Bank of El Dorado sponsored production continues on December 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. A final matinee performance will be given on Sunday, December 9, at 2:30 p.m. A limited number of tickets are still available. Ticket prices are $10 for students, $15 for SAAC members, and $20 for the general public. To reserve seats, contact the SAAC box office at (870) 862-5474.

This weekend is also the final chance to discover a winter wonderland of beautiful evergreens with “The Festival of Trees.? The annual exhibition of Christmas trees continues in the Merkle and Price Galleries until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10. The exhibition is free to the public. Showing times are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and during performances of “Irving Berlin?s White Christmas.?
