Mayor Smith-Creer encourages use of two free parking lots downtown

Designated Free Downtown Parking Areas
Mayor Veronica Smith-Creer is encouraging people to park in the designated free public parking areas outlined in red in the above map of downtown El Dorado.
The parking lots are only a block or two from all of El Dorado’s downtown shops and restaurants.
Parking Lot 1 is between First Baptist Church and the El Dorado School District Building.
Parking Lot 2 is directly across from the Murphy Arts District’s Amphitheater.
Also, for businesses who have their own parking lots, Smith-Creer encourages the owners and their employees to park in those parking lots to free up parking downtown around the square.
Smith-Creer also said anyone needing a ride from the parking lots to a destination downtown may call her office to arrange transportation.
