EL DORADO – The CALL in Union County will host the November Business After Hours, a monthly event held in conjunction with the El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce.
This month’s Business After Hours will be held on Tuesday, November 16th at The CALL in Union County’s support center, beginning at 5 p.m. The CALL in Union County is located at 1024 N. Euclid Drive in El Dorado.
This event will have live music by Emily Cole and Matt Benson; door prizes, including a gift basket from All About Flowers; tours of the support center; plus, hors d’oeuvres and much more!
Wall of Christmas Cheer
During The CALL’s Business After Hours event, the Wall of Christmas Cheer will be displayed, giving event-goers the opportunity to make monetary donations at whatever size they feel comfortable. The wall will total $1,000 in donations when completed. Donation amounts will range from $1 to $500 on the envelopes. The funds raised will go towards the mission of The CALL in Union County.
Arkansas Heart Gallery
Also, on display during the event will be the Arkansas Heart Gallery, which is a collection of beautiful photographs of children and teens waiting to be adopted in Arkansas.
“November is Adoption Awareness Month. While we understand the pain that comes with our children needing forever home, we also celebrate when we see children find that forever,” said Karen Hicks, Union County Coordinator for The CALL. “The CALL focuses on foster families, but part of this work in helping to raise up families that provide that forever home to children in foster care that do not have a family to return to. We set aside November to focus on that need. The CALL is excited to be hosting Business After Hours this month and welcoming our community. We pray our guest leave with a better understanding of this work and have an opportunity to be part of creating more than enough support for our local waiting children.”
Cost for this event is $5 plus a business Card.
Business After Hours is a monthly event put together by the El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce. The next Business After Hours will be hosted by UCAPS on December 14th.
