The South Arkansas Arts Center (SAAC) invites aspiring actors and theatre lovers ages 17 and older to audition for its upcoming fall production, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, sponsored by AmerCable and Southern Bancorp. Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, September 14 and 15, with performances scheduled for October 27 through November 1.

Audition registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday, followed by auditions at 7 p.m. Participants may attend either or both audition nights. Before auditions begin, actors will be asked to complete an audition form and have their picture taken. Callbacks will be held Wednesday, September 16, at 6:30 p.m., if needed.

Those auditioning should expect cold readings from the script and should also be prepared to participate in improv and theatre games. No advance preparation is required. Actors should wear appropriate footwear for movement and, most importantly, come ready to have fun.
