Black History Month Poetry Slam. Open Mic for reading your verse, whether it’s rap, hip hop, lyrical, narrative, or your own type of poetry. Also, if you do not have poetry and Prose of your own to present, please select a brief reading African American writer, for example, Alice Walker, Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Amiri Baraka or so many others.
If you do not want to read, please join the audience and applaud. you can come and go as you please. We probably will last about half an hour, that is unless we have flood of readers.
