“Disco Daze” Corks and Canvas led by Marla Tomlinson at South Arkansas Arts Center

Perfect for those who have always wanted to explore their artistic side, Corks and Canvas combines creativity with a relaxed atmosphere. This month, Marla will guide participants in creating a “far-out” acrylic painting of a disco ball on 12-inch round canvases, “I wanted to do something fun and colorful with the class, and what says fun more than a disco ball?!?! I also love the idea of painting the round canvases to look like disco balls versus painting a round disco ball on a square or rectangle canvas. I’m looking forward to a fun night at SAAC.”
No prior art experience is needed—just bring your friends and a willingness to unwind and have fun! All painting supplies, including paints and brushes, will be provided, and SAAC will offer snacks to enjoy during the class. Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite drinks to sip on while they paint.
