From Almeda To Zilphia: Arkansas Women Who Transformed American Popular Song

El Dorado will host a one-of-a-kind celebration of art and the state’s musical heritage this fall. At 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, the South Arkansas Arts Center will welcome the author Stephen Koch and artist Katherine Strause behind a new book profiling Arkansas women in music. Refreshments and a book signing will follow the program.
