Life During the 1920s Oil Boom: The Story of the Goat Woman

• Silent movies and radio. Baseball, carnivals and the Goat Woman, too? Who was the Goat Woman? Discover how people in south Arkansas had fun during the 1920s oil boom. Learn the legend of the Goat Woman, who came to south Arkansas during boom to entertain people with her musical talents. Then make your own noisemaker from recycled materials. • This program is designed for children 5 years of age and older. Due to limited space, the program can accommodate 30 participants. Registration is required. Please call the museum at (870) 725-2877 to reserve a place.
