Boomtown Street Scavenger Hunt
What is a relay and a sounder? What does a Dazey churn look like? What about Frantz toy or a dobro? Go on a scavenger hunt to discover the answers to these questions Explore what life was like during the 1920s South Arkansas oil boom, and how the boom changed the course of south Arkansas history. Walk the Boomtown Street gallery with the museum curator and get a close-up look at the artifacts of daily life used during the oil boom.
This program is designed for children from ages 6-12 but is open to everyone. Adults are required to stay with their children.
