Tinker Time for Kids: Life in the 1920s-Electricity
Can you imagine not having air conditioning, television, video games or even electric lights? What kinds of toys were there for children one hundred years ago? Come to the museum and explore how daily life during the 1920s South Arkansas oil boom was in some ways similar, but also different to life today. Also, create and decorate your own toy known as a jitterbot using recycled materials.
This program is designed for children ages 6 to 12, but all are welcome. Adults are required to remain with their children during the length of the program. Space is limited. Please contact Charles at (870) 725-2877 to reserve a place for your child in the program.
