SAAC will host the Penguin Project, a week-long summer camp focused on inclusive theatre. Participants are invited to register and take part in an open call on Tuesday, May 13 beginning at 3:45pm. Artists entering grades 3-12 and Mentors entering grades 5-12 are invited to participate. Registration will be followed by an inaugural cast meeting where they will meet director Lynn Gunter and Music Director Cassie Hickman. The meeting will feature creative theatre games to spark imagination.
From July 26 to August 2, the actors and mentors will then collaborate to prepare for a performance of Disney’s “The Lion King, Kids,” culminating in a show on Saturday, August 2, at 2pm.
