TINKER TIME – 3-D DESIGN CHALLENGE

FREE PLEASE CALL TO RESERVE YOUR SPACEWhat is the tallest freestanding structure you can create? Come to the museum and show off your talent, working alone or with a team, using a 3-D pen that is like a hand-held printer. Instead of being controlled with computer software and motors, you guide the printer by hand. You will use a 3 – D pen that works by heating plastic, like that of a hot glue gun. The pen will allow you to effectively draw structures in the air or on a flat surface. Build things that were found in South Arkansas during the 1920s oil boom such as: Towers, houses, oil derricks and maybe a 1920’s automobile or just about anything that your heart desires. Patterns and other materials will be supplied.
