The very first Main Street Cash Mob will hit downtown August 16. The instructions thus far are to arrive at Corrine Court (between KTVE and House of Wylie) between the hours of 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Upon arrival, you will be informed on which business the Cash Mob is hitting.
The concept is simple: with $20 in hand, members of a community come together to shop in a locally-owned establishment to support their favorite local business and support the area economy.
Remember, there are only three rules to participating in the Cash Mob;
1. You must spend at least $20 in the selected business.
2. You must meet 3 new people.
3. You must have fun in creating an economic impact for a locally-owned, downtown business.
Please know that the selected business will be drawn out of a hat. Once selected, it will be removed so that the Cash Mob gradually hit each business. While at the selected business, you will be given an invitation to a downtown restaurant for the After-Cash Mob Social.
