Christmas Ornaments in the 1920s

free, reservations neededAt the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources, we offer a variety of hands-on activities that explore the story of the 1920s south Arkansas oil boom. During the holidays in the 1920s instead of store-bought ornaments, many families fashioned homemade decorations, which they put on their trees to celebrate the season. Come to the museum to make your own hand-crafted ornaments and discover some fun facts about the holidays of the past in south Arkansas.
