• What is an oil derrick? What do they have to do with south Arkansas? Learn the answers to these and many more questions as you explore the Oil Park with an interpreter and learn the history of the 1920s south Arkansas oil boom. Then construct your own 1920s oil derrick using recyclable materials like straws and cardstock. You can make it flat on cardstock or construct a 3-dimensional model. • This program is designed for children 5 years of age and older.
